The establishment of the first private emergency room in Denmark has created a lot of debate in the media.

Specialist in orthopaedic surgery Henrik Erichsen is the leading person behind skadestuen.nu.
It is not the first time Henrik Erichsen has created debate within the health sector. In 1981 he opened, together with Bonnie Erichsen, Denmark's first private hospital - Erichsen's Privathospital, witch still exists.
Great demand in the private sector for fast and effective treatment including treatment of acute injuries has led to the need for skadestuen.nu.

The personnel
Skadestuen.nu has employed extremely qualified personnel including doctors, nurses, radiologists, secretaries and service assistances, to give you the best treatment/service available.

The surroundings
Skadestuen.nu is located in welcoming premises on Rolighedsvej 8, Frederiksberg.
If you as a patient or a relative have to wait in our reception, complimentary coffee, tea, chocolate and cold water are always available for your convenience.
The colours are in the logo's light colour, together with withe, anthracite grey and sand.

As a patient your safety is of the utmost importance. Our emergency room has instruments, which gives you an optimal examination and treatment.
If an accident occurs, Skadestuen.nu has an insurance covering professional liability up to 10 million Danish kroner.

Transparency
At the emergency room we aim to have transparency. You will as a patient receive a fully understandable health record and invoice, so you can see exactly what is wrong and what you are paying for.
